We offer both undergrduate and (post) graduate programs in the diffrent areas of computing and Information Science. Through novel teaching and learning methods, and using state-of-the art facilities, you will acquire skills and competencies to help you address problems encountered in society. Our qualified staff are available to help you acquire these skills and competencies.
Our academic programs as well as our teaching methods are designed in such a way that the student is always at the centre of everything we do. We are a student-centerd School! During the course of your stay, you will not only be exposed to theortical knowledge and practical skills, but you will also get a chance to be placed in an industry during, the Industrial Training College and School Practice (ITCSP) recess, where you will further enhance and acquire practical and field-based skills. This will give you a chance to apply what you learned in the lectures in a real-life situation!
The School of Computing and Information Science has established national, regional and international collaboration linkages and partnerships that help us to have staff exchanges, carry out joint and collaborative inter-and multi-disciplinary research and publication. All this is geared towards ensuring that we maintain and ehnace the quality of our teaching, research and publication.
Through these collaborations and partnerships, we attract research funding and scholarships for our staff and (post) graduate students. The School also attacts International Students and well-qualified faculty who come to enhance our teaching and research.
