Partnerships And Collaborations

The School of Computing and Information Science has partnered with academic institutions, research agencies, government agencies, businesses & industries, donors & sponsors, etc.  within the country, the East African Community (EAC) block and internationally.

These partnership and collaboration linkages are intended not only to put checks and balances on the quality our teaching, learning and research, but they are also intended to engage other stakeholders in determining the marketability of our academic programs, employability of our graduates, and having our students placed in industries and other organizations partnered with. This helps us to always develop demand-driven programs.

It is through such partnerships and collaborations that our staff secure training and research funds, carry out joint research projects and joint supervision of graduate students. Such partnerships and collaborations help the school to attract well-qualified academic staff, through staff exchanges and sabbatical leaves.

The following are some of the institutions, agencies, etc. partnered and collaborated with.
